Olive Eggers (OE)

You will be contacted letting you know your eggs/chicks are available in the order of purchase. MAX of 2 Dozen/order. Max of 6 chicks/order. Chicks are straight run (unsexed) chicks.
Please Note: Chicks are available for local pickup only. Hatching eggs may be shipped or picked up locally. (Also, the reason you see chick photos with brown eggs below is because I originally bred brown egg hens x a homozygous blue egg gene rooster but have since changed to using blue & green egg hens x a dark brown egg gene rooster.)
IN DEPTH EXPLANATION: Wide range of light green to dark olive eggs (F1) and darker greens/browns (BCOE)

• Strong layers with great vigor
F1 vs. BC — What It Means:
• Eggs you receive from me can be either blue or green in color but hens will lay green or brown-why?!
• Blue egg layers are crossed with our Marans rooster from Stallings Farm’s dark egg Legacy line to produce F1 Olive Eggers — hens will 100% lay some sort of green eggs.
• Green eggs hatched produce Backcrossed (BC) chicks. Our green egg layers were paired back to our Stallings BCM rooster, with the hopes of creating darker greens and olives with the possibility of brown egg shades, depending on genetics.
IMPORTANT: Egg color varies by cross, but every shade is beautiful — and that’s the magic of Olive Eggers. Select F1 or BC specifically, or get a Mix.
What to Order:

F1 Eggs: for folks who like just a little mystery with their morning chores… will hens lay green, olive, or green speckled?!
BC Eggs: because who doesn’t love a chicken that keeps you guessing?! You have a 50/50 chance at green or brown eggs > It’s like a chicken-themed gender reveal… but for egg colors. These babies keep it exciting… will they be green, olive, or brown? Only time will tell!
Mix - This means "surprise me!". You will get a mix of both F1 and Backcrossed Olives
